Charities Supported By Disneyana Fan Club

On the west coast, Ryman Arts in Los Angeles has trained, educated & encouraged teens in arts and artists since 1989. Herb Ryman was the artist that designed the Disney Castle for Walt.

 

On the east coast, "Give Kids The World" outside Orlando, Florida is a village for children with life-threatening illnesses & their families.  Providing wish-granting (in coordination with over 250 organizations worldwide), the organization provides accommodations at its 70-acre resort, meals for week long vacations, and donated admission tickets to Orlando Resorts and Attractions.

 

Throughout the rest of the country many local Disneyana Fan Club chapters support their own local charities. These activities are encouraged and provide magic around the world.

Ryman Arts teaches teens essential skills for art and life in a rigorous, nurturing studio environment. The core program includes free out-of-school sequential studio courses that emphasize advanced drawing and painting skills, along with college and career planning.

 

Courses,taught by professional teaching artists, foster students’ artistic development and personal confidence, and provide the knowledge they need to pursue higher education and careers in the arts. Ryman Arts is the only such reverse mortgage rates program in southern California that is totally free and that selects participants solely on the basis of their ability and commitment.

GIVE KIDS THE WORLD

Give Kids The World

 

Give Kids The World Village is a nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, Florida for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Children between the ages of 3 and 18 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness by a licensed doctor are eligible for a GKTW Wish. One of over 250 wish-granting organizations worldwide coordinates transportation to Central Florida, while Give Kids The World provides accommodations at its resort, meals for a week-long vacation, and donated admission tickets to local attractions including Walt Disney World Resort, SeaWorld, and Universal Orlando Resort.
