1999 Norman "Stormy" Palmer

Norman “Stormy” Palmer started in the Traffic Department, running errands and working as a projectionist. He moved into editorial after six months, but left for wartime service as an aerial photographer. In 1946 he returned to editorial, and by 1953 he earned his first film credit on The Living Desert. He edited many of the True-Life Adventure series, including  Beaver Valley, White Wilderness and Nature’s Half-Acre. His film editing credits also include The Incredible Journey, The Gnome-Mobile and Grand Canyon, the Oscar-winning CinemaScope short.
